Ultimate Frankfurter Pasta
- 6 Maple Lodge Farms Ultimate Chicken Frankfurters, chopped
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 4 tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup uncooked penne pasta
- 2 cups water
- 2 tbsp green onion, chopped
- Parmesan cheese
1At medium-high heat, in a big pot, add the olive oil, garlic, onion and mix well.
2Add the chopped Maple Lodge Farms Ultimate Chicken Frankfurters, chopped tomatoes, mix well.
3Add the seasoning: sugar, salt, pepper and mix well.
4Add the heavy milk, mix well.
5Add the uncooked penne pasta, water and mix well.
6Let it cook for 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes for the pasta not to stick to the bottom.
7Turn off the heat, add the green onions, mix it and close the pan lid.
8Wait 5 minutes with the pan closed before serving.
9Top with Parmesan cheese to taste.
To make sure your chicken is cooked through, look for an internal temperature reading of 82° C for a whole chicken and 74° C for ground poultry, chicken pieces & cuts.
